Well, after some time to reflect, I’ve decided that I’m making my main focus first off my science fiction setting. I keep going back to it more than all the other ideas at the moment, and I really want to explore it more now given the crap being produced for my former two favorite sci-fi universes (Star Wars and Star Trek). I’ve started a new World Anvil page that I will likely eventually make public, once I have some more info on there, and I am wanting to make an honest effort at starting some stories in this universe.
I suppose the biggest reason for this is just how dissatisfied I’m feeling at work here lately, combined with the fact that one long-time co-worker just up and quit to pursue his interests, and a few more people are looking to jump ship as soon as they can. I’m still weighing my options, but I can’t leave with a truck payment looming over me every month, so there’d have to be something else waiting. But, I’m hoping this may just be another rough period before things even out again. Time will tell, I suppose.
I’ll be continuing my little horror series (The Providence) as well until it’s finished. I’m pretty far through into part 3, but started getting the feeling I was rambling too much. I’m going to go back to it hopefully this week and finish that up. If not this week, likely next. With spring here, it means a lot more work around the house.
